Can each of the four CDs “stand-alone” or is it better to get all four together?
‘The Singing Bible’ is meant to introduce kids to the BIG STORY of the Bible from Creation to Jesus’ Second Coming. So although the CDs can be purchased individually, it takes all four of them to go from Genesis to Revelation.

Does The Singing Bible adhere to basic Christian beliefs and Statements of Faith?
Yes. The teachings in ‘The Singing Bible’ agree with the Apostles Creed. The Visionary, Executive Producer and co-writer of ‘The Singing Bible’ is Rick Osborne. A man trusted throughout the Christian Publishing Industry and the Body of Christ for helping parents of all denominations teach their children the Faith. He ensured that ‘The Singing Bible’ stuck to the basics of the Christian Faith and that all its content would be acceptable to the vast majority of all branches of Christianity. In addition, a Doctrinal Editor was hired to comb over the script to make sure nothing was missed. The effort was obviously successful; ‘The Singing Bible’ has received nothing but praise from Christian leaders in a wide spectrum of Christian denominations.

Focus on The Family promotes a Singing Bible. Is it the same thing?
Yes and No. Focus on The Family felt that ‘The Singing Bible’ was such a valuable tool for families that they licensed the songs to create their own version. This version has all the same wonderful songs but the similarity stops there. A Grandfatherly actor reads a short piece of dialogue between each song. These blurbs help tie the songs together and weave together God’s BIG STORY of the Bible. Without that, the product would just be a collection of Bible songs. The Original Version is far more elaborate. The same kids and adults you hear singing the songs were also used to complete the story connections between the songs. This part of ‘The Singing Bible’ took many months to script, rehearse, professionally record and produce. This Original Version not only includes a lot more dialogue, fun and humor, it also includes much more Biblical teaching and demonstrates how we can come to Faith and grow in our Faith because the kids in the play do so. Although Focus on The Family made their version available on CD a few years ago, the Original Version has not been made available on CD or for digital download until now. Due to overwhelming demand for the Original Version, Lightwave Publishing returned to the studio, digitally remastered it, and are now making it available once again.

I purchased the Songs Only download instead of the Full Version download by mistake. How can I correct this?

If I’m using The Singing Bible in my Sunday school class, can I make copies of songs for each of the children?
We get many requests for this. Therefore, we are currently working on a Singing Bible “Church” package. It will include the Songs Only Tracks (no dialogue between songs), Band Tracks, Music Sheets, separate Lyrics and the SB Play. Once a church purchases the package, they will have purchased the right to use any of the material in their Sunday School within a specific time frame royalty free. This package is expected to be available by the end of 2010. NOTE: This is for teaching purposes only. Copying the entire 51 songs to distribute to your children is NOT allowed. Please direct them to this website to purchase their own copy of The Singing Bible for home use.

What style of music does the Singing Bible use?
‘The Singing Bible’ makes use of an extremely wide variety of musical styles which is one of the reasons that it is timeless. For example, ‘Seven Fat Cows’ is twelve-bar blues, ‘They Were Judges’ sounds like a hit from the fifties, ‘Starry Sky’ is a traditional Christmas choir song and ‘The Ten Commandments’ is a Christian rap song. Other styles include American Folk, Pop, Hymn, Light Rock, Christian Contemporary, Irish Jig, Ballad, Caribbean, Marching Band, Big Band, Jewish Folk, German Folk, Praise and the list goes on. Fans love the variety because it never gets redundant and it helps introduce kids to different musical styles.
